LEE ADKINS, Growth and Leadership Development

Lee moved to Atlanta from his hometown of Houston in 1996 to tour with Phoenix Records recording artist, Soup. After 5 years on the road, he founded his first company, New Music Studios. This new venture in music education led him to become the National Program Director for Camp Jam. At Camp Jam, he helped musicians learn to successfully work together as a team and a business. Lee led a small team that grew Camp Jam to ten locations across the USA.
In 2006, Lee started selling real estate full-time. His results and professionalism caught the eye of the Atlanta Sold Sisters. In 2012, they made Lee their Operations Manager, and he helped them grow from $32M to $63M in just 3 years.
Based on Lee's success with the Atlanta Sold Sisters, other companies began looking to him for help growing their real estate businesses. In 2014, Lee founded Amplified Solutions to help teams and brokerages around the country grow by improving their structure, culture, and strategy.
Lee is a partner with Village Realty, a boutique brokerage in Atlanta. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors and Board of Governors for the Atlanta Realtor Association, Lee was also named as their 2017 Vice President of Administration and Finance.
Lee still loves music and his favorite axe is a Fender '62 reissue Jazz bass.
HEATHER McKEE, Business Manager & HR
Heather keeps us all on track. She grew up in New Orleans and after graduating from Auburn University, she moved to Atlanta, met her husband, started a family and acquired a four-legged friend. Heather loves canoeing on the Chattahoochee River, Auburn football and sushi.
She was an integral part of growing Camp Jam Rock and Roll camp from 1 location to 18 and also served as project manager on international projects with Camp Jam and Hard Rock in Mexico and the Caribbean.
Heather is very active in the community and has recently served as Chair of the Mom's Group at her church which has over 4500 families and currently serving on the Board of her daughter's school.
JOEY AHERN, Operations
Supporting the heart of your business so you can focus on the bigger picture.
Joey hails from the Atlanta suburbs and studied finance at Georgia Southern University. After school, he went to work with friends at a local startup called SEC Excursions. There he managed the operations of a fast growing events company tied to college football games.
The experience at SEC Excursions strengthened his long-held desire to be an entrepreneur. In 2014, Joey turned his attention to commercial real estate. His early success came from developing a solid book of business in the multi-family market.
In 2016, he became a partner and started the Metro Atlanta Realty Group. Joey's energy, communications, and focus on the client relationship drives the success of his top-producing team.
When he's not working, you likely find Joey living it up outdoors or at the closest Crossfit box.
LAURA FANGMAN, Business Consultant
A Midwesterner at heart, Laura was born and raised in Quincy, Illinois. She has lived in The South for the last 15+ years, (though coastal locations that offer no basements still make her clutch her pearls during tornado season). Although finally settled down -at least for now- Laura and her family have moved no less than 12 times in the last 17 years, so she has a unique perspective on relocation and personal experience to balance her professional knowledge.
Her experience as a small business owner and entrepreneur, prior to her transition into the real estate industry, have provided opportunity for her BS in Sociology to really come in handy. Laura took the plunge into full-time real estate in 2009 and has been licensed in Virginia and Georgia, moving into leadership roles at the local and state level. Presently, Laura is the Chair of the Virginia Realtors' YPN committee and sits on the Board of Directors for her local Realtor Association.
Laura is excited to be part of the team at AS and enjoys helping other industry professionals define and achieve their goals. She is known for her direct approach and honest feedback, as much as her willingness to provide help and support. As an extension of her belief that education and involvement are integral to any success, Laura is able to provide clients with an objective overview of their current staff and systems and then help them create and execute a plan for improvement and continued success, moving forward.
Here are the juicy bits you were looking for when you committed to reading this boring bio: Laura lives on a micro-farm, near Quantico, VA, where she alternately prays for rain & sun, depending on the weather. This is where she and her husband -both loyal fans of Da Bears- are raising two amazing children and living the American Dream. Laura played the role of "Extra," in her high school's production of South Pacific, despite belting out more of "Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair" than anyone else in the audition. She is a certified to read blueprints and her biggest life lessons are mostly things she has learned the hard way, like:"Never buy a horse named 'Buck'."
NIKKI PATEL, Digital/Social Media Manager
Nikki was raised in Atlanta and is a Senior Marketing major at Georgia State University. Her role is to promote and develop new and relevant content for our social media clients. She oversees the management of multiple social media accounts by utilizing social media management systems and generating leads through developing brand awareness, content, and promotion strategies. Utilizing her knowledge of web design and content creation, she also designs and monitors content for blogs and various websites.
